First day back in business!

Yesterday we began our beautiful work again at Our Heart Centre, and I am still feeling the reverence of what unfolded.

We kicked off with the most incredible Women’s Circle, lovingly held and led by our beautiful Aisha, and the way she opened the space was so deeply anchored, wise and heart led.

“Yesterday we gathered for the first Women’s Circle of the year. A powerful morning of shedding and releasing. It was a beautiful reminder of what becomes possible when women gather with intention, presence, and care.

We worked with fire and water to consciously release what no longer serves; old patterns, identities, and stories that have completed their cycle. Each woman was seen, heard, and witnessed in a safe and supportive space. As we prepare for the energy of the Year of the Horse,
we made space for what wants to move forward –
lighter, clearer, and more aligned.

Thank you to every woman who showed up fully and held space for one another. This is healing as it was always meant to be: together.” – Aisha

We then moved into a sacred Changa smoking ceremony, and it was truly magnificent. The energy in the space shifted instantly. It felt like a deep return to spirit. A return to the ancestors. A return to our guides. A return to ourselves. There was a reset happening through breath and prayer, through presence and intention, through the invisible threads that connect us to all things. It felt like we were shedding old skins and allowing the last remnants of this Year of the Snake to be cleansed away. Such powerful messages came through. Wondrous messages. The kind that touch your bones and remind you that you are never alone.

We ended the day in the most profound way, with a Sweat Lodge held by our amazing Carla.

There is something ancient and sacred that happens in the sweat lodge. It is not just heat. It is not just discomfort. It is a ceremony of remembrance. A rebirth. A purification on every level.

In the lodge, we are held in the womb of the earth. In complete humility. In complete truth. The steam, the darkness, the prayers, the drum, the breath, the songs, and the shared silence create a portal that clears the mind and opens the heart. It purifies the body through sweat, it softens the nervous system through surrender, and it creates a space where grief, fear, old stories and emotional burdens can finally leave the body.

The sweat lodge brings us back to ourselves.
It clears energetic stagnation.
It grounds us deeply into the earth.
It strengthens our spiritual connection.
It humbles the ego and awakens the soul.
It is a place where we remember that healing is not something we force. It is something we allow.

There was washing clean with the rain outside before the sweat, and then smudging again within the lodge with the smoke. It felt like spirit placed its hand over us and washed away the heaviness of the last year. A clearing. A closing. A final release. And then the deep, intense connection with the ancestors, with our guides, with Mother Earth, with the four elements, and with self, unfolded so powerfully within that sacred circle.

Starting the year off on this note felt profound beyond words. If this is how we begin, I cannot wait to witness what is coming next. There is a sense of sacred momentum building. A deepening. A widening of the heart. A new level of devotion to the path.

I am so grateful for our incredible team who showed up with big, loving, wide hearts, and for every single attendee who came to all three ceremonies. Your presence mattered. Your courage mattered. Your openness mattered.

May we be blessed.
May we be guided.
May we be embraced by all of life.
