Yesterday morning I was exposed to the E-files

Yesterday morning I was exposed to the E-files. What I saw shook me. I felt physically sick. My head was spinning. My body went into that heavy, unsettled space that comes when you feel something very deeply. I had intentionally avoided going down that rabbit hole for a long time because I know how sensitive I am to these things. And having come from my own wounded experience of child molestation, I feel the suffering of children in a way that sits very close to my heart. For about an hour I felt scattered, heavy and dark. The energy of it was overwhelming. It was one of those moments where you realise just how much darkness can exist in the world. So I did what I have learned to do when my nervous system and heart feel overwhelmed. I grounded myself. I moved my body. I went and had a really powerful workout and allowed the physical movement to shift the energy out of my system. As the day went on, something inside me began to settle. And with that settling came a deeper understanding. Awareness is not always comfortable. Sometimes awareness hurts. Sometimes it shakes us. Sometimes it breaks open the illusion that the world is only light and goodness. But awareness is also necessary. I did not go as deeply into it as many people have. I chose to take in enough to understand what is being revealed without immersing myself in the darkness of it all. What I do feel deeply is that the shadows are being revealed. For a very long time, humanity has been living with many things hidden beneath the surface. Systems of secrecy, harm and control that were never meant to see the light of day. But truth has a way of surfacing. I am not interested in turning this post into a discussion about who did what. That will unfold in its own time. What I do feel is this. Let the tables be turned over. The pendulum always swings. When things have been hidden for too long, there comes a moment where the revealing begins. Darkness does not dissolve by pretending it does not exist. It dissolves when it is brought into the light. So while my heart aches for the pain behind these revelations, another part of me recognises that exposure is the first step toward healing. Let the shadows be seen. Let the truth surface. Let the light reveal. ~ Angy-Lee ~ Our Heart Centre 💚🌱
