I sometimes shudder to think where I would have landed if I had not started my healing journey. The path I was on with drugs, partying, and alcohol was a one-way road to self-destruction, to numbing the pain instead of facing it. Behind every wild night was a deeper ache, a quiet cry for something real.
It was not glamorous. It was masochism disguised as fun. A slow breaking of my own spirit.
Then the Universe, in its mysterious grace, sent me angels in the form of friends who introduced me to the world of plant medicines. That moment changed everything. It was not an instant fix, it was the beginning of a long and sacred journey back home to myself.
Healing asked everything of me. It asked for honesty, introspection, and courage to face my own truth. It demanded responsibility and self-action. It stripped away illusions and called me to meet the parts of myself I had buried under years of distraction.
Through that deep work came something I never expected, purpose. A calling that has become my life’s devotion.
Today I am eternally grateful. Grateful for the darkness that showed me what light truly is. Grateful for the medicines that opened my heart. Grateful for every person who walked beside me as I remembered who I really am.
To anyone standing at that crossroads, please know there is a way back. And on the other side of your pain, your purpose awaits. 🌱💚
