To the generation who grew up with phones.

I genuinely feel so much compassion for the generation who have grown up with cell phones in their hands since childhood.

Their whole life is a show. A performance. A curated highlight reel.
Every moment, every reaction, every phase captured, uploaded, commented on.
They’ve been watched since before they even understood who they were.
No messy phase was ever truly private.

They are constantly on display.
And somewhere in that pressure to be seen, liked, followed, approved. I wonder how many of them actually feel known.
I wonder how often they get to be real.
Messy.
Offline.
Unfiltered.

I hope they have safe spaces and quiet moments where no one is filming, no one is judging, and they can just exhale.
I hope they find freedom in the silence.
I hope they remember that their worth was never meant to be counted in hearts, likes or views.

To this generation: I see you. I honour you.
And I hope you find your way back to yourself, the version of you that doesn’t need to perform.
