The Egyptians believed that bees were born from the tears of the Sun God, Ra. When his tears touched the desert sands, they transformed into bees, carrying with them divine essence and messages from the higher realms.

Because of this sacred origin, bees were not only honored as symbols of the divine, but also revered as emblems of royalty and power in Lower Egypt. Their buzzing was thought to echo the whispers of spirit, reminding humanity of its connection to the heavens.
